Website Development Training at NMSC

Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology - School of Information and Communication Technology, City of Tangub and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) gave a free, 8-day technical Web Development Course for aspiring online freelancers through digitaljobsPH. The training aims to develop ICT technical skills of Filipinos in the countryside and increase their employability and participation in the digital economy. The trainees are undergoing the following modules during the training: website (content and design) planning; customizing and securing website; content writing and website policies; search engine optimization and social media integration; freelancing 101 and getting projects; and, freelancing 102. A 21-day campaign is also included to promote trainee's online freelancer profile. The training was launched October 1, 2019 at NMSC Theater and will end on November 14, 2019.
